Most patients receive their dentures the same day as their visit. Because we have an on-site denture lab at our Syosset office, the entire process—from impressions to fabrication to fitting—can be completed in a single appointment.
It depends on your treatment plan. Many patients use Same-Day Dentures as their transitional set after extractions. Once healing is complete, a more customized long-term set may be created for optimal comfort and fit.
Yes. Our on-site lab team custom-crafts each set to your measurements for a secure, natural feel. Some adjustments are normal, and we can provide same-day relines or modifications if needed.
You can eat soft foods right away. As your mouth adjusts, you can gradually return to a full diet. Our team guides you on what to eat during healing, especially after extractions.
Not always. Some patients already missing teeth—or looking to replace old dentures—can receive Same-Day Dentures without any extractions. We evaluate your oral condition during your consultation.
The longevity depends on whether they are used as a temporary healing denture or a final prosthesis. With proper care, a long-term denture can last years. Temporary healing dentures may need replacement once your anatomy stabilizes.
