These dentally- approved appliances reposition the tongue and lower jaw forward during sleep to maintain an open airway. They are custom made, comfortable, easy to wear and non invasive.

It only takes most patients a few nights to get accustomed to it. Compliance to oral appliances are significantly better than patients attempting to use CPAP technology.

There are a plethora of oral appliances that are currently available.. Each is unique and has some advantages and disadvantages. Dr. Mittle evaluates each patient for which oral appliance will result in the best outcome for patients.

Dr. Mittle will also monitor the patients treatment progress, make adjustments as needed and send you for a follow up sleep study to ensure the therapy is properly working. Dr. Mittle communicates with the patients physician to ensure best treatment for patients.
