Her educational adventure started at Hofstra University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Fueling her determination to become a dentist, she enrolled in the prestigious dental program at New York University. It quickly became evident that dentistry was her natural talent, and her hard work paid off as she proudly earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
She sought to broaden her horizons and began a general dentistry residency at One Brooklyn Health – Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, renowned for tackling the most challenging cases. Her dedication and skill earned her the prestigious Resident of the Year title during her residency, a testament to her commitment to her patients.
Driven by her love for working with kids, Dr. Laurel entered a pediatric residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. There, she gained invaluable experience providing gentle and compassionate dental care to young patients, ensuring they felt safe and comfortable throughout their visits.
Throughout her journey, Dr. Laurel has stood out with her unwavering commitment to her patient’s well-being, constant pursuit of knowledge, and sincere care for children. Her friendly, approachable nature and her creative and intelligent approach to dentistry have won her the admiration and gratitude of countless families.
